Mika Reinikainen, Managing Director of Abnovo Ltd., has more than 40 years of experience in regulatory affairs, spanning senior roles in industry (Pfizer), legal practice
(Hogan & Hartson), and regulatory consultancy (MTCE, BRI, Quintiles and Abnovo).

Throughout his career, he has held several senior positions in industry trade associations, European Commission expert groups, and standards organisations. He is
a former Chairman of EAAR. He currently serves as Chairman of the UK Responsible Person Association (UKRPA) and is actively involved in several professional organisations: Healthtech Finland, the Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA) and Team-PRRC.

He has published extensively and delivered numerous presentations on regulatory affairs. He has taught post-market surveillance (PMS) of medical devices for several
years and is currently exploring the application of artificial intelligence to PMS. He holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Nice, France, and an MBA from
the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
